Vocalis Consort and the Fundación Cultural Armonía, with the support of the Casa de la Música, presents Canto Latino - CyberChallenge2021, their first online international competition, which invites singers to showcase art songs by Latin-American composers.

The competition is focused on performances with voice and piano.

We want to challenge performers in creating high level presentations within the limitations of the media itself. We are looking for creativity and authenticity. We are looking for singers who will be successful in using the video platform as a medium to showcase their artistic vision, their resourcefulness, their ingenuity, and above all, their artistry.

We wish to give to singers an opportunity to foster and excel in new skills. We are looking for performers whose submission will bring the song recital up to date and attest that the art song recital can find a new significance in the virtual era of the 21st century.

Canto Latino calls for video submissions of Art Songs by Latin-American composers.

Now, more than ever, is the right time for artists to showcase their talent on digital platforms!

The Canto Latino - CyberChallenge2021 Competition is open to singers from all nationalities, with no age limit.
